William Hewitt “Witt” Cox, III grew up in Kingstree, South Carolina. Witt received his Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina. Prior to joining the firm, Witt clerked for the Honorable Edgar W. Dickson and served as an Assistant Public Defender for Richland County. Witt handles litigation involving areas of construction law, personal injury, real property, contract disputes, and insurance coverage. Witt is admitted to practice in all South Carolina courts and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
