Robert
W. Achurch, III was born Annapolis, Maryland in 1961. He
attended the University of South Carolina earning a Bachelor
of Science degree in 1984 with a double major in Economics
and Finance. Mr. Achurch was a credit analyst and commercial
lender in the banking industry. He earned his Juris Doctor
degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law
in 1992 and was admitted to the South Carolina Bar that
same year. He joined the firm in 1992. Mr. Achurch is admitted
to practice in South Carolina and the United States District
Court for the District of South Carolina. He focuses his
practice primarily on civil litigation, medical malpractice,
insurance defense law, administrative law, mediation, and
government law. He is a member of the Beaufort County Bar,
the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association,
and the South Carolina Bar. Mr. Achurch is also a member
of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. Martindale-Hubbell
Lawyer Rating system has awarded Mr. Achurch an “AV”
rating. AV indicates a lawyer has reached the height of
professional excellence, skill and integrity.
